We will be playing recorders in January this year. Please use the following form to learn more about them and to order one from school.
You will see me at a Civil War day station. We will learn what three things music was used for during the Civil War and how young musicians were able to get around the enlistment age rule.
Right now, we are learning about how music played a big part of the Underground Railroad. We read the book, Follow the Drinking Gourd and now are add instrumentation to the song from the book. Next we will create our own secret passage song.
